sLs Group Founder

sLs group founder is also a professional pianist and a studio musician .
Rik grew up in London, England, and began to learn piano at the age of five. He joined the local musical ensemble at the age of 9, From then on he dreamed of becoming a musician/pianist .
 

He was a prizewinner in’Young British Soloists of the Year'Competition of the London Symphony Orchestra.

1st prize in Music Performance Competition of the Imperial College Chamber Music Society.

1st prize in Chopin Interpretation Competition of Warsaw Conservatory.


Later on in university, he studied both Classical and Modern music 
at Royal College of Music (Classical music) and London College of Music (Modern music) Besides music , he also studied psychology during his university life at Imperial College London.
 

Rik's genes and cultural background may explain some of his music and language skills: He is one-half British, one-quarter Japanese, and Korean, Chinese, German , Persian ancestry. He speaks 6 languages.

Hobbies

He loves football ( soccer ), going to gym and exploring the world .He has 
been to over 60 countries, countless of places on seven continents. 

He likes taking photos in the morning. As early as possible that means less people around. ( Have a look at the *Gallery page )

Chartity work

Rik has been supporting Unicef since 2012. He has travelled to China, Middle East and Africa , visiting kids, to raise funds and donations for Unicef. 

Rik has also been donating *500 Electronic keyboards every year since 2014 .His campaign slogan is 'Everyone deserves an opportunity' to learn to play the piano.As a pianist , he would love to see a great pianist coming from Unicef children perform on stage in the future. 


Since establishing the Rik music Foundation in 2016, He has been actively supporting young pianists/musicians from all around the world. sLs Japan is also offering free language and piano lessons for orphans in Tokyo. Please contact us for more information .
